Teeth Grinding
Are your teeth taking the brunt
of your stress?.
Grinding your teeth or bruxism as it is termed often occurs while you are a
sleep.
Bruxism is a behaviour where the sufferer has a number of related behaviours
including gnashing and clenching of the jaw and grinding their teeth. It is thought to be the result of suffering
from stress and anxiety, sleep disorders, or teeth that are crooked or missing or having an abnormal
bite.
The likely symptoms of having bruxism are having dull headaches or a sore jaw.
Sufferers will often have teeth that are painful or teeth that are loose from severe grinding. If the condition is
untreated the sufferer may well get fractures in their teeth.
If you feel that your hectic lifestyle may be the root cause of your teeth
grinding you need to take action now. Research into how you can learn to relax, possibly muscle relaxant's,
counseling and even exercise will help you in reducing your tension.
